ATH is the highest market value and capitalization that a cryptocurrency has achieved since its inception and listing on exchanges. The historical high reflects the theoretical potential of the cryptocurrency but does not give any guarantee that the asset will ever rise to such a level again. For example, according to the analytics platform CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin ATH is $64,863 (April 14, 2021). ATL is the lowest recorded value and market capitalization of a cryptocurrency.
