What is cryptojacking?

Cryptojacking is a fraudulent activity in which an infected device is used to stealthily mine cryptocurrencies. Scammers hack into computers and install cryptojacking malware that runs in the background to mine cryptocurrencies. Also, programs can steal assets from crypto wallets. Victims continue to use their devices in standard mode, although they may notice a decrease in PC performance. Typically, malware enters computers through disguised ads or when clicking on malicious links.
