Crypto.com is the inaugural exchange to obtain AI management certification.

AI Management Certification
Crypto.com became the first digital‑asset platform to earn ISO/IEC 42001:2023, the global standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems. The certification, issued by ISO, defines requirements for establishing, maintaining and continuously improving an AIMS. CEO Kris Marszalek says it underscores the company’s commitment to safety, security and trustworthy AI use. The standard also addresses ethical, transparent and accountable AI practices.
Strategic AI Partnerships
In late 2024 Crypto.com integrated CoincidenceAI, enabling conversational strategy design and linking to Bybit and Kucoin. A December partnership with Doblox lets users trade directly with AI‑generated insights in approved regions. Earlier, Marszalek bought the ai.com domain for $70 million, launching a platform of autonomous agents for trading, scheduling and workflow automation. He describes it as a decentralized “front door to AGI.”
Compliance and Industry Impact
The AI certification adds to Crypto.com’s ISO/IEC 27001, 27701, ISO 22301, PCI‑DSS and SOC 2 Type 2 credentials and a Tier‑4 NIST assessment. AI is increasingly used in crypto for real‑time fraud detection, AML/KYC enhancement and operational automation. Regulators such as South Korea’s FSS are upgrading AI‑driven monitoring tools to curb market manipulation. Gartner forecasts AI spending near $1.5 trillion in 2025, with major tech firms investing heavily in the infrastructure.
