Digital Credit Concept

Digital credit is a crypto‑backed fixed‑income product using Bitcoin as collateral. Michael Saylor coined the term, calling Bitcoin “digital capital.” It is a preferred equity, not traditional debt.

STRC Structure and Yield

Stretch (STRC) pays a variable monthly dividend, currently about 11.5% yield. The dividend is adjusted to keep the price near $100, with changes at MSTR’s discretion. Payments are treated as return of capital and the issue can be redeemed anytime.

Risks and Rating

Yield depends on Bitcoin appreciation; a flat price could force cuts or redemption. Though price‑stable, the security carries high crypto underwriting risk. A Hold rating reflects the attractive yield but uncertain income.
